So many directions

I just found out my cousin died yesterday. He bumped his head while in the bathroom getting sick. He was taken to the hospital and the doctor's couldn't do anything for him. My aunt is taking it okay, from what my Mom said. It's a terrible thing.

Now, I'm sitting here trying to distract myself from all of that by working...or at least telling myself that I'm working.

I don't know if my cousin is a believer or not. I pray for my aunt, my other cousins and family as the plans are made for the funeral. I only hope that he came to Christ and knew that his sins were paid for and that the free gift of eternal life was available to him. It's gonna be tough to hold back tears at the funeral...but we all need time to grieve.

I pray that we all stop and take account of our lives and realize what it's all about...and that it's not about us.

My mind is going in so many directions right now...I couldn't even begin to describe it. Why is it everytime we hear of something like this we stop to think about things...instead of taking time to do that everyday. I need to stop rambling and get focused and get on with my day.

My condolences to you and your family. It's so strange that I came upon your blog. Just last week my favorite uncle fell in his kitchen and hit his head, and he died the next day. May the Lord comfort all who mourn the loss of our loved ones.
